Forecox Tablet is used to manage tuberculosis (TB) infections. It is a combination of four anti-tuberculosis medicines.
It helps relieve TB symptoms such as persistent cough, weakness, night sweats, fever and weight loss. The four medicines work together to kill the TB bacteria in different ways. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and complete the full course even if you start feeling better.
Eat a nutritious diet with enough protein (dal, eggs, milk), rest well, avoid alcohol and smoking, and cover your mouth when coughing to protect others.
Before starting, tell your doctor about your medical conditions and allergies, especially liver problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report persistent or worsening side effects, or yellowing of the skin or eyes, to your doctor right away. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
