Flusid Cream is used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, characterized by crusty, swollen patches. It also aids in healing infected cuts and grazes and helps control infected dermatitis, which causes red, swollen, and painful skin.

To use Flusid Cream correctly, follow these steps:

• Wash and dry the affected skin area.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream.
• Gently rub it into the skin.
• Remember to wash your hands immediately after applying the cream unless you are treating an infection on your hands.
• Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, mouth or nose. If it does get into these areas, rinse thoroughly with water.
• It's essential not to cover the area with airtight dressings or bandages to reduce the risk of side effects. Loose gauze may be used if needed.
• Consult your doctor for specific advice regarding its application.

Flusid Cream contains fusidic acid (0.2%), which works on your skin in the following ways:
