Fiberlact Granules 90gm

Fiberlact Granules 90gm is used for managing chronic idiopathic constipation effectively. It is a dual-action formula. It combines Lactitol, a cathartic, and Ispaghula Husk, a bulk-forming laxative, to manage bowel movements by softening the stools and enhancing stool passage. Lactitol works through its hyperosmotic action, drawing water into the intestine to facilitate stool loosening, while Ispaghula absorbs water, increasing stool volume and softening it. This granule-based medicine is easy to consume by mixing in water or milk, making it user-friendly for daily use. Alongside its primary function, it might also help alleviate discomfort associated with constipation, such as bloating and abdominal. 

• Lactitol Monohydrate BP (10gm): Lactitol is a hyperosmotic agent that helps in softening stools by drawing water into the intestine. This increased water content in the stool eases its passage, potentially reducing strain and discomfort. It also helps maintain bowel movement regularity and relieves symptoms like hard stools and incomplete evacuation.
   
• Ispaghula Husk IP(3.5gm): Ispaghula, also known as psyllium husk, works as a bulk-forming laxative by absorbing water and increasing stool volume. It helps soften stools and facilitates smooth bowel movements. It also helps support digestive health by promoting gut motility and reducing symptoms like bloating or abdominal cramps.

• 15 grams of granules (one spoonful) once or twice daily or as directed by the physician.
• Add one dry spoonful of Fiberlact to a glass of water. 
• Stir briskly and consume the contents immediately.
• Follow it up with a glass of water.

• This granule is safe for elderly individuals but should be used with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding under medical supervision.
• Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. 
• Replace the lid tightly after use. 
• Use the contents within 14 days after opening the container.
• Consult your doctor if pregnant, breastfeeding, or above 65 years of age.
