Before receiving this injection, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease, dehydration, malnutrition, chronic alcohol use or an allergy to paracetamol. Tell your doctor about other medicines you take, particularly products containing paracetamol and blood thinners such as warfarin. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Excessive paracetamol exposure can cause serious liver injury, so the total amount received from all medicines must be carefully monitored.
