CompositionEspin 5 Tablet 10 is used primarily for managing high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. Containing amlodipine (calcium channel blocker), it works by relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow. It works to reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes, improve exercise tolerance in angina patients, and decrease the frequency of angina episodes. Additionally, it helps in lowering peripheral vascular resistance and relieving symptoms of coronary artery disease, often serving as initial therapy for managing hypertension.
Follow these instructions while taking Espin 5 Tablet 10:
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
Take this medicine at the same time each day.
You can take it with or without food.
