CompositionEslo-5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent chest pain (angina), lowering the workload on the heart and reducing the risk of future heart attacks and strokes.
It contains S-amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. Take it with or without food, as prescribed, and continue regularly even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Reducing salt intake, eating more fruit and vegetables, staying physically active, keeping to a healthy weight and limiting alcohol help control blood pressure alongside this medicine. Avoid grapefruit juice, as it can affect how the medicine works.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, heart failure or very low blood pressure. Report ankle swelling or ongoing dizziness to your doctor, and speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
