CompositionEslo-5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and to prevent chest pain (angina). Lowering blood pressure reduces the workload on the heart and helps lower the risk of future heart attacks and strokes.
It contains S-amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. It can be taken with or without food. Take it as prescribed and continue regularly even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms.
Lifestyle changes help control blood pressure alongside this medicine. These include reducing salt, eating more fruit and vegetables, staying active, keeping to a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol. Avoid grapefruit juice, which can affect how the medicine works.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver problems, heart failure, or very low blood pressure. Tell your doctor if you develop ankle swelling or ongoing dizziness. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
