Esofag L Capsule is used for the comprehensive treatment of GERD, relieving symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux, while also treating dyspepsia and peptic ulcers by reducing acid production.

Uses of Esofag L Capsule are:

• GERD: Relieves heartburn and acid reflux caused by acid flowing back into the food pipe.
• Dyspepsia: Eases indigestion, bloating and stomach discomfort after meals.
• Peptic Ulcers: Reduces stomach acid production, allowing ulcers in the stomach lining to heal.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew or crush the capsule.

Esofag L Capsule 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Esomeprazole (40 mg): This ingredient works by irreversibly blocking an enzyme system called the proton pump in the stomach's parietal cells that is responsible for acid production. By inhibiting this enzyme, esomeprazole effectively suppresses both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion.

• Levosulpiride (75 mg): Levosulpiride is a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist with prokinetic properties. It increases acetylcholine release, stimulating stomach and intestinal movement. Furthermore, it heightens lower oesophageal sphincter pressure to prevent reflux of stomach contents into the oesophagus.

Together, these two ingredients provide effective relief from GERD symptoms by both reducing stomach acid production and enhancing gastrointestinal motility.

• Store your Esofag L Capsule 10 in a cool, dry place with temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture.
