Epiduo Gel 15gm

Epiduo Gel 15gm is used in the management of acne vulgaris. It helps reduce excess oil production, prevents blockage of skin pores, and controls the growth of acne-causing bacteria. Regular use reduces inflammation, pimples, and the formation of new acne lesions, promoting clearer skin.

Here's how you should use Epiduo Gel 15gm:

• Ensure your skin is clean and dry before application.

• Wash your hands both before and after applying the gel.
• Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, angles of your nose and mucous membranes.
• Do not apply on cuts, abrasions or sunburned skin.

Epiduo Gel 15gm contains two active ingredients:

• Adapalene (0.1%): This third-generation topical retinoid binds to specific retinoic acid nuclear receptors in your skin cells and modulates their growth and maturation processes. By doing so, adapalene normalises the growth of skin cells within hair follicles, reducing the formation of acne-causing blockages called microcomedones.
• Benzoyl peroxide (2.5%): As an oxidising agent with antibacterial and exfoliating effects, benzoyl peroxide releases free oxygen radicals which kill acne-causing bacteria in hair follicles by oxidising their proteins. Its exfoliating effect aids in the expulsion of comedones – blocked hair follicles that cause acne – thereby helping to clear your pores.

• Store Epiduo Gel 15gm in a dry place at room temperature, specifically below 25°C.
• Do not freeze.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or high heat.
• Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use to prevent contamination.
• Always keep out of reach of children to ensure safety.
