Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment 5Gm

Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment 5Gm is used for the management of:

• Severe allergic conjunctivitis unresponsive to conventional therapy
• Giant papillary conjunctivitis
• Vernal keratoconjunctivitis
• Atopic keratoconjunctivitis
• Adjunctive management to reduce the risk of corneal graft rejection
• Other immune-mediated inflammatory disorders of the eye

• Wash your hands thoroughly before application.
• Gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
• Apply a small amount of ointment inside the lower eyelid as prescribed.
• Close the eye gently for one to two minutes and avoid blinking excessively.
• Avoid touching the tube tip to the eye or surrounding surfaces.
• Replace the cap tightly after use.

Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment 5Gm is applied topically to the eye as an ophthalmic ointment.

Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment 5Gm contains the following ingredient:

• Tacrolimus (0.03%): Tacrolimus is a macrolide immunosuppressant that inhibits calcineurin, thereby preventing activation of T-lymphocytes and reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-2. In ophthalmic use, this action decreases immune-mediated inflammation on the ocular surface and helps relieve symptoms associated with allergic and inflammatory eye disorders.

• Store Entrak Soothe Eye Ointment 5Gm below 25°C.
• Protect from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

• Maintain good eyelid hygiene to reduce allergen accumulation.
• Avoid known environmental allergens where possible.
• Use protective eyewear in dusty or windy environments.
• Limit prolonged screen exposure if experiencing ocular discomfort.
