Waxonil Activ Ear Drops 10ml

Waxonil Activ Ear Drops are used for managing the following conditions:

• Softening and loosening of accumulated earwax

• Alleviating ear blockage caused by excess earwax

• Relieving discomfort and fullness in the ears resulting from hardened earwax

• Reducing itching in the ears due to excessive wax

• Diminishing ringing sounds in ears, a condition known as tinnitus, associated with wax buildup

To use Waxonil Activ Ear Drops effectively, follow these steps:

• Ensure your hands are clean before using this medicine.

• Tilt your head sideways to expose the affected ear.

• Carefully fill the ear canal with the prescribed amount of drops of this medicine.

• Retain this head position for about 1-2 minutes, allowing the medicine to penetrate the wax.

• Afterwards, tilt your head in the opposite direction and let the medicine and dissolved wax drain out onto a tissue.

Waxonil Activ Ear Drops is composed of three active ingredients that work together:

• Benzocaine (2.7%): This ingredient is a local anaesthetic. It helps in numbing the ear canal and eardrum. By blocking nerve signals in your ear area temporarily, benzocaine provides relief from discomfort and itching caused by excessive ear wax.

• Paradichlorobenzene (2%): As a wax softening agent, paradichlorobenzene penetrates and softens hard ear wax deposits. It lowers the melting point of the wax, making it easier to remove.

• Turpentine Oil (15%): This component acts as a cerumenolytic agent which breaks up and disperses the hardened wax so that it can be drained out more easily from the ear canal.

• Store Waxonil Activ Ear Drops at a temperature below 30°C.

• Protect it from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to avoid air and moisture exposure.

• Ensure it is kept out of sight and reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date printed on the label and use before that.
