Glykind M Tablet 10

Glykind-M Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus by combining gliclazide and metformin. This combination works to lower blood glucose levels and improve insulin sensitivity, providing better control over blood sugar. When used alongside a balanced diet and regular physical activity, the medicine supports optimal glycaemic control, reducing the risk of diabetes-related complications.

• Swallow the Glykind M Tablet whole with a glass of water 
• Do not crush or chew the tablet, as this may affect the absorption of Glykind M Tablet in the body 
• Take the Glykind M Tablet at a fixed time every day. This will maintain the levels of medication in the blood. 

Glykind M Tablet should be taken orally.

Glykind M Tablet contains the following components:

• Gliclazide (80 mg): It belongs to the class of sulfonylureas that causes your body to produce more insulin. Due to the release of increased insulin from the pancreas, the blood glucose level gets lowered.
• Metformin (500 mg): It is a biguanide that decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat cells. The body can better use insulin to transport glucose into cells, reducing blood sugar levels. It also helps to lower the amount of glucose absorbed from the gut.

• Store this medicine at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Glykind M Tablet away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Incorporate foods with low glycemic index, such as green leafy vegetables, whole grains, berries, citrus fruits, chia seeds, bitter gourd, and extra virgin olive oil.
• Limit your intake of processed and high-sugar foods, which can cause spikes in blood sugar levels.
• Avoid refined sugar intake in any form. Instead, use natural sweeteners such as stevia, sugar alcohols, yacon syrup, allulose, and monk fruit sweeteners.
• Engage in regular physical activity, which can help improve insulin sensitivity and blood sugar control.
• Quit smoking, as smoking can increase the risk of complications associated with diabetes.
• Watch your sodium intake and not exceed 5 gm daily to avoid heart conditions with diabetes.
• Monitor your blood sugar levels regularly and stay connected with your doctor to adjust your treatment plan.
