Doxolin 200 Tablet is used to treat and prevent symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps relax the muscles of the air passages, widening them and easing breathing, relieving wheezing, chest tightness, and breathlessness to support better respiratory comfort and functional ease.

When taking Doxolin 200 Tablet, follow these instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet.
• Take the tablet preferably in the evening after food.
• Maintain consistent timing each day when taking this medicine.
• It's important to continue taking this medicine even if symptoms improve unless instructed by your doctor.

Doxolin 200 Tablet is taken orally.

Doxolin 200 Tablet contains doxofylline (200 mg), which works in the body as follows:

• Relaxation of airway muscles: Doxofylline acts as a bronchodilator. It relaxes the smooth muscles in your airways (bronchi and bronchioles), causing them to widen.
• Improved airflow: With relaxed and widened airways, there is improved airflow in and out of your lungs, making it easier for you to breathe.
• Reduction in airway constriction and inflammation: By reducing airway constriction and inflammation, doxofylline helps manage and prevent symptoms of COPD and asthma.

• Keep your Doxolin 200 Tablet in its original packaging until it's time to take it.
• Store at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Avoid exposure to excessive light, heat, and moisture.
• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.
• Make sure you use the medicine before the expiration date printed on the pack.

• If you smoke, try to quit or cut down. Smoking can worsen symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma, the conditions managed by Doxolin 200 Tablet.
• Limit your intake of caffeine and chocolate. These substances might enhance the side effects of doxofylline, the active ingredient in Doxolin 200 Tablet.
