Dilzem-SR Tablet is used to manage chest pain (angina), high blood pressure, and certain irregular heart rhythms. As a calcium channel blocker, it helps relax blood vessels, easing the heart's workload and improving circulation.

Here's how to use Dilzem-SR Tablet correctly:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
This medicine can be taken with or without food.
Ensure that your doses are approximately 12 hours apart.
Do not alter your dose or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Dilzem-SR Tablet is taken orally.

Dilzem SR Tablet may cause dizziness, headache, oedema, flushing, nausea, rash, weakness, irregular heartbeat, and slow heart rate. Worsening of heart failure may also occur.
