Diltiazem (90 Mg)

Dilzem-SR 90 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure and chronic angina, and to help control certain irregular heart rhythms. Its sustained-release form gives steady control through the day and night.

It contains diltiazem, a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and easing the heart's workload, which improves the blood and oxygen supply to the heart.

Dilzem-SR 90 Tablet is used for high blood pressure and angina.

Uses of Dilzem-SR 90 Tablet are:

High Blood Pressure: Relaxes the blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
Angina: Improves blood and oxygen supply to the heart to relieve chest pain.
Heart Rhythm: Helps control certain irregular heart rhythms.

Here's how to use Dilzem-SR Tablet correctly:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.
This medicine can be taken with or without food.
Ensure that your doses are approximately 12 hours apart.
Do not alter your dose or stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Dilzem-SR Tablet is taken orally.

Dilzem-SR 90 Tablet may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.
