Composition

Dapagliflozin (10 Mg)

Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 is used to manage type 2 diabetes by helping the body remove excess sugar in the urine. It also helps protect the heart and kidneys, and is used in some people with heart failure or chronic kidney disease.

It contains dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor. It works by stopping the kidneys reabsorbing sugar, so excess sugar leaves the body in the urine.

Take it once daily, with or without food, and stay well hydrated. Good personal hygiene helps prevent genital and urinary infections.

Tell your doctor about any frequent genital or urinary infections before use. Seek urgent help for feeling very unwell with nausea, vomiting and rapid breathing, which can rarely signal ketoacidosis, even if blood sugar is not very high.

Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 is used to manage type 2 diabetes.

Uses of Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 are:

Type 2 Diabetes: Lowers blood sugar by removing excess glucose in the urine.
Heart Protection: Helps protect the heart, including in heart failure.
Kidney Protection: Helps protect the kidneys from long-term damage.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not split, crush, or chew the tablet.
The medicine can be taken with or without food, as prescribed by the doctor.
Try to take the medicine at approximately the same time each day.

Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 is taken orally.

Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.

A few common side effects of Diadapa 10 Tablet 14:

Genital and Urinary: Genital fungal infections and urinary tract infections; drinking fluids and good hygiene help.
Urinary: Passing urine more often.
Other: Signs of dehydration; drink enough fluids.

Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 contains dapagliflozin (10 mg), which works in the following ways:

Reduction of Blood Sugar Levels: By inhibiting SGLT2, dapagliflozin prevents glucose reabsorption, causing it to be flushed out from the body through urine. This process effectively lowers blood sugar levels.
Mild Diuresis and Caloric Loss: As dapagliflozin increases urinary glucose excretion, it also leads to a slight increase in urination (mild diuresis) and caloric loss, which may assist with weight management.

Pregnancy

Diadapa 10 Tablet 14 is not recommended during pregnancy due to the potential risk to a fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters. If you're pregnant or planning to conceive, consult your doctor before starting this medicine.

Breastfeeding

Alcohol
