Dericip Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Treatment of asthma

• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

• Relieving bronchial airflow obstruction

• Controlling recurring breathing difficulties

• Improving lung function in respiratory disorders

• Reducing airway inflammation

• Easing bronchial smooth muscle constriction

• Managing bronchial hyperresponsiveness

Follow these instructions while taking Dericip Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Try to take the medicine at the same time each day.

Dericip Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Dericip Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients that work together to help you breathe more easily:

• Etofylline (77 mg): This component works by relaxing the smooth muscles in your airways. It inhibits certain enzymes called phosphodiesterases, which increases levels of a substance called cyclic AMP in your body, leading to widened air passages.

• Theophylline (23 mg): As a bronchodilator, theophylline blocks adenosine receptors in your lungs. Adenosine is a substance that can cause your airways to narrow. By blocking its effects, theophylline helps keep your airways open and reduces inflammation in the breathing passages.

• Store Dericip Tablet 10 at room temperature in its original packaging.

• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Store in a dry place to maintain its effectiveness.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use Dericip Tablet 10 after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Avoid caffeine-containing foods and drinks (coffee, tea, chocolate, cola) as these may increase the chance of side effects when taking medicines containing theophylline.

• Stay well-hydrated throughout the day, as proper hydration helps thin mucus in your airways, making breathing easier for people with asthma or COPD.
