Deriphyllin Tablet 350

Deriphyllin Tablet is used for the following:

• Management of asthma symptoms

• Treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Relief of breathing difficulties in respiratory conditions

• Prevention of asthma attacks

• Control of chronic bronchitis symptoms

• Management of emphysema

• Improvement of airflow in obstructed airways

• Reduction of inflammation in respiratory passages

• Easing wheezing and chest tightness

• Enhancement of respiratory muscle function

Follow these instructions while taking Deriphyllin Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day.

• Follow your doctor's advice about when to take this medicine.

• Continue taking this medicine even if you feel better, unless advised otherwise.

• Consult your doctor if you have any questions about using this medicine.

Deriphyllin Tablet is taken orally.

Deriphyllin Tablet contains two active ingredients that work together to help you breathe more easily:

• Etofylline (77 mg): This component relaxes the smooth muscles in your airways, which helps to widen the air passages and make breathing easier. It also reduces inflammation in the lungs, decreasing swelling and mucus production.

• Theophylline (23 mg): As a bronchodilator, theophylline works by relaxing the muscles surrounding the airways. It also improves the strength of the diaphragm, which is a major breathing muscle, thereby enhancing overall respiratory efficiency.

• Store Deriphyllin Tablet at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Discard any unused tablets properly.

• Avoid caffeine-containing foods and drinks: Coffee, tea, chocolate, and some fizzy drinks can increase side effects like restlessness when taking this medicine for asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

• Quit smoking: Tobacco smoke irritates the airways and reduces the effectiveness of Deriphyllin Tablet in managing respiratory conditions.
