Cyblex M 60 XR Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes in adults

Cyblex M 60 XR Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Gliclazide (60 mg): This ingredient belongs to the sulfonylurea class of medicines. It works by binding to the sulfonylurea receptors on pancreatic beta cells. This action closes specific potassium channels and opens calcium channels within these cells. The result is an increased release of insulin from the pancreas, helping to lower blood sugar levels.

• Metformin (500 mg): As a biguanide medication, metformin primarily works by reducing the amount of glucose produced by your liver. Additionally, it helps improve your body's natural response to insulin, ensuring that more glucose is taken up and used by your body's cells.
