Cozartan 25 Tablet 10 iis used in adults to control high blood pressure and to help protect the heart and kidneys from related complications.

Uses of Cozartan 25 Tablet 10 are:

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults.
• Stroke Risk: Helps lower the risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and an enlarged heart muscle (left ventricular hypertrophy).
• Kidney Protection: Helps protect the kidneys in people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking the tablet into pieces.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.

The active ingredient in Cozartan 25 Tablet 10 is losartan (25 mg). The action of this medicine on the body can be summarised as follows:

• Angiotensin II Blocker: Losartan works by blocking the action of a chemical in your body called angiotensin II. Normally, this chemical causes your blood vessels to narrow, increasing blood pressure.
• Vessel Relaxation: Losartan blocks angiotensin II, helping your blood vessels relax and widen. This makes it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body.
• Reduction in Heart Workload: Relaxed and widened blood vessels make the heart work less hard to pump blood, reducing blood pressure and straining the heart.

• Store Cozartan 25 Tablet 10 at room temperature, below 30°C.
• Avoid exposing the medication to direct light or moisture.
