Cozartan 100 Tablet 10 contains Losartan (100 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Blocks angiotensin II receptors: Losartan prevents a hormone called angiotensin II from binding to its receptors in your blood vessels. This blocking action helps relax and widen your blood vessels.

• Reduces blood pressure: By blocking angiotensin II, losartan causes your blood vessels to relax and widen (vasodilation), which lowers your blood pressure and reduces strain on your heart.

• Decreases aldosterone production: Losartan reduces the secretion of aldosterone, a hormone that makes your body retain sodium and water. Less aldosterone means less fluid retention in your body.
