Cosvate Cream 30Gm

Cosvate Cream is used for short-term treatment of severe inflammatory and itchy skin conditions that respond to a potent topical corticosteroid.

Uses of Cosvate Cream are:

• Eczema: Reduces redness, itching and inflammation during severe flare-ups.
• Psoriasis: Reduces inflammation and scaling in selected affected areas.
• Dermatitis: Relieves inflammation and itching in steroid-responsive dermatitis.

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry before application.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream on the affected area using your fingertips.
• Rub it gently into the skin until it's fully absorbed.
• Refrain from covering the area with bandages or dressing unless advised by your doctor.
• Remember to wash your hands after applying the cream unless your hands are the affected area.

Cosvate Cream 30gm is applied topically.

Cosvate Cream 30gm contains clobetasol propionate (0.05 %) as the active ingredient. It works on your skin in the following manner:

• Clobetasol propionate works by inducing proteins known as lipocortins. These anti-inflammatory proteins effectively inhibit the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, inflammatory mediators that trigger swelling and inflammation in the body.
• By inhibiting the inflammatory mediators, this medicine helps reduce skin inflammation.
• The antipruritic effect of clobetasol propionate also helps reduce itching and discomfort associated with various skin conditions.

• Store Cosvate Cream 30gm at normal room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep away from direct heat and sunlight, ensuring a dry and cool place.
• Always keep the medicine out of reach of children.
• Be sure to use this medicine before its expiration date.

• Include more omega-3 fatty acids in your diet. These can be found in salmon, mackerel, and sardines. Omega-3 fatty acids reduce inflammation and can help manage these skin conditions.
• Limit exposure to environmental irritants and allergens that can trigger or worsen your skin condition.
