Momtas Cream 20Gm

Momtas Cream is used to relieve skin inflammation, itching, and redness in adults and children with corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions.

Uses of Momtas Cream are:

• Eczema and Dermatitis: Reduces skin swelling, redness, and intense itching associated with eczema and contact dermatitis.
• Psoriasis: Helps manage inflamed skin plaques, redness, and scaling in psoriasis.
• Allergic Rashes: Relieves skin irritation, allergic contact rashes, and localised skin inflammation.

To use Momtas Cream 20gm correctly, follow these instructions:

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area as directed by your doctor.
• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it is fully absorbed.
• Avoid applying this cream on your face, underarms, or groin unless instructed by your doctor.
• After application, wash your hands thoroughly unless they are in the area being treated.
• Remember to consult your doctor for any specific advice related to its use.

Momtas Cream 20gm contains Mometasone (0.1 % w/w), which works in the body as follows:

• Inducing Lipocortins: Mometasone induces the production of proteins called lipocortins. These proteins play a crucial role in controlling inflammation by inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory mediators, such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

• Store Momtas Cream 20gm at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Keep it away from direct heat and moisture to maintain its effectiveness.
