Concitor 10 Tablet 10 is used to treat swelling caused by excess fluid in the body (oedema) in adults with heart failure, kidney disease and liver disease, and to help control high blood pressure, reducing swelling and shortness of breath. It contains torsemide, a loop diuretic (water tablet).

Reducing the salt in your diet, keeping to your monitoring appointments and following any advice on how much fluid to drink support your treatment alongside this medicine.

Before starting, tell your doctor about any allergy to sulphonamide medicines, gout or diabetes, and about all other medicines you take.

Regular blood tests check your kidneys and salt (electrolyte) levels. Report marked dizziness, muscle cramps or ringing in the ears (tinnitus).

Concitor 10 Tablet 10 is used to treat swelling caused by excess fluid in the body (oedema) in adults with heart failure, kidney disease and liver disease, and to help control high blood pressure.

Uses of Concitor 10 Tablet 10 are:

Fluid Retention: Helps remove excess fluid in heart failure, kidney and liver disease.
High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure.
Oedema Relief: Helps reduce swelling and shortness of breath.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.
Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.
Avoid taking this medicine within 4 hours of bedtime to prevent frequent urination during the night.

Concitor 10 Tablet 10 is taken orally.
