Megestrol (160 Mg)

Megesta 160 Tablet 10 is used to manage advanced breast cancer and endometrial cancer. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing megestrol, a progestin.

This medicine provides palliative treatment for advanced hormone-sensitive breast cancer. It also provides palliative treatment for advanced cancer of the lining of the womb.

Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, and all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Ask your doctor before using this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report any persistent or serious side effects to your doctor. Megesta 160 Tablet 10 is used to manage advanced breast cancer and endometrial cancer.

Uses of Megesta 160 Tablet 10 are:

Advanced breast cancer: Provides palliative treatment for advanced hormone-sensitive breast cancer.
Endometrial cancer: Provides palliative treatment for advanced cancer of the lining of the womb.

Follow these instructions while taking Megesta-160 Tablet:

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Take this medicine at the same time each day for consistent effects.
Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Megesta-160 Tablet is taken orally.

Megesta 160 Tablet 10 may cause some side effects that are usually mild and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine.
