Coltro AS 75 Capsule is used for the following:

• Protecting against heart attacks in individuals at high risk

Coltro AS 75 Capsule contains two active ingredients:

• Aspirin (75 mg): At this low dose, aspirin works as an antiplatelet agent. It inhibits a substance called cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), which reduces the production of thromboxane A2, a substance that can make your blood clot more easily. By reducing thromboxane A2, aspirin helps prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This is a type of statin and it works by blocking an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This enzyme is important for making cholesterol in your body. By blocking it, rosuvastatin reduces levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or "bad" cholesterol and fats like triglycerides while increasing high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or "good" cholesterol.
