Cobix-200 Capsule is a medicine used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and painful menstrual cramps (primary dysmenorrhoea). It is also used to manage acute pain in adults under medical supervision.
Cobix-200 Capsule contains celecoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is usually taken with food and a full glass of water to reduce the risk of stomach upset. Continue taking it for the duration prescribed by your doctor. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed to manage your symptoms.
Supportive measures can help manage joint and menstrual pain alongside this medicine. These include gentle stretching or low-impact exercise, applying warm or cold compresses, maintaining a healthy weight to reduce joint strain, and using assistive devices if recommended by your doctor or physiotherapist.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, or are taking other medicines. It is not suitable during late pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you notice dark stools, vomiting blood, swelling of the ankles, or chest pain during treatment.
