The uses of Clopitab 150 Tablet 4 are:

• Preventing blood clot formation in people with a history of heart attack, stroke or peripheral arterial disease
• Helping to avoid blood clots and thromboembolic events in patients with atrial fibrillation who can't take warfarin
• Reducing the risk of thrombotic events in conditions of acute coronary syndrome, such as unstable angina or non-Q-wave myocardial infarction, regardless of whether the patient's management includes percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass grafting

• Swallow the whole tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• Take it with or without food, but it is recommended at a fixed daily time for better results.

Clopitab 150 Tablet 4 is taken orally. 

Clopitab 150 Tablet 4 contains the following components:

• Clopidogrel (150 mg): Clopidogrel is a pro-medicine that requires transformation in the liver via specific enzymes, mainly CYP2C19, to become active. The active metabolite of clopidogrel inhibits the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its platelet receptor. This action prevents the activation of a complex on the platelet surface, thereby reducing the clotting ability of the platelets. By inhibiting platelet aggregation, clopidogrel helps prevent the formation of harmful blood clots that could lead to heart attacks or strokes.

• Clopitab 150 Tablet 4 should be stored at room temperature, not exceeding 30°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.
