Citistar-PM Tablet is used for speeding up recovery in acute stroke patients by helping to reduce brain damage, promote healing, and enhance overall health after a stroke. It is prescribed for enhancing cognitive abilities by acting as a cognitive booster to improve memory and brain function. It is used for managing dementia, a disease characterised by memory loss and difficulty with thinking skills, and may be beneficial for patients with Alzheimer's disease. This product can also be used for various other conditions that affect cognitive abilities.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or break the tablet.

Citistar-PM Tablet is taken orally.

Citistar-PM Tablet consists of two active ingredients:

• Citicoline (500 mg): As an intermediate in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine, a major component of cell membranes, citicoline enhances the synthesis of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in memory and learning. It also has neuroprotective properties, increasing sirtuin-1 levels and reducing inflammation by inhibiting phospholipase A2. Additionally, it influences neurotransmitter levels, raising serotonin and lowering glutamate.

• Piracetam (400 mg): This is a cyclic derivative of GABA that modulates neurotransmission and enhances neuroplasticity. It improves the functioning of acetylcholine and glutamate receptors, increases blood flow and oxygen consumption in parts of the brain, and helps maintain cell membrane fluidity, allowing cells to function optimally.

• Store Citistar-PM Tablet in a cool, dry place where the temperature is below 25°C.

• Keep it protected from light and moisture. Maintain the tablets in their original packaging along with the desiccant pouches.

• Ensure it's kept out of reach of children.

• Incorporate brain-healthy foods into your diet, such as those rich in omega-3 fatty acids (like fish, chia seeds, and flaxseeds), antioxidants (like berries, and spinach), and vitamin E (like nuts, and seeds), which can help enhance cognitive functioning.
