Ciprobid 500 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections in adults. It provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, effectively targeting urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and skin infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Ciprobid 500 Tablet treats lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, gastrointestinal (GI) tract infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), infectious diarrhoea, typhoid, fever, uncomplicated gonorrhoea, plague in adult and children population and chronic bacterial prostatitis.

Ciprobid Tablet is used to treat various bacterial infections, including community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), bronchitis, cystitis, and prostatitis. It is also effective for gonococcal infections, septic arthritis, cystic fibrosis, pyelonephritis, and anthrax. This tablet helps manage infections caused by bacteria like Mycoplasma pneumoniae, E. coli, and Neisseria gonorrhoeae, among others.

This medication should be taken as per the instructions provided by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole with water after your meal to avoid stomach discomfort.
Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.

Antiarrhythmics such as quinidine, hydroquinone, disopyramide, and amiodarone when taken with Ciprobid 500 Tablet may interact and increase the effects of antiarrhythmics.
Tricyclic antidepressants such as doxepin and amoxapine when taken with Ciprobid 500 Tablet may interact and increase the effect of tricyclic antidepressants.
Macrolide antibiotics such as azithromycin and clarithromycin when taken with Ciprobid 500 Tablet may interact and increase the effect of macrolide antibiotics.
Vasodilators such as pentoxifylline when taken with Ciprobid 500 Tablet may interact and increase the effect of vasodilators.
