Cheston Cold Suspension is a medicine used to manage common cold and flu symptoms in children, such as fever, nasal congestion, sneezing, and a runny nose. It combines an antihistamine, a decongestant, and a fever reducer to provide relief from multiple symptoms in a single dose.
It also helps relieve allergy symptoms triggered by seasonal changes or common allergens, including watery eyes and sneezing. The liquid formulation is designed to be easier for children to take.
Give the correct dose based on your child's age and weight, as advised by their doctor, and use the measuring cup provided with the pack. Do not give this medicine along with other paracetamol-containing medicines unless your doctor advises it, to avoid exceeding the safe dose of paracetamol.
Before giving this medicine, tell your child's doctor about any pre-existing conditions or other medicines your child is taking. Contact your paediatrician right away if your child develops excessive sleepiness, a skin rash, or symptoms that do not improve.
