Cepocon Cv 200/125 Mg Tablet 6 is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the airways, urinary tract, and skin in adults. It is particularly useful for infections caused by bacteria that have become resistant to ordinary antibiotics.
It contains cefpodoxime, a cephalosporin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, which protects the antibiotic from being broken down by certain bacteria. Take it at the start of a meal as directed to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset.
Simple measures support recovery. Get adequate rest, stay well hydrated, and complete the full course even if you begin to feel better, to help the infection clear and reduce the risk of resistance.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, or any liver or kidney problems. If you develop severe loose motions, a skin rash, or signs of an allergic reaction, contact your doctor right away. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
