Cbenzprime 5 Tablet 10 is used to provide relief from muscle spasms associated with acute and painful musculoskeletal conditions. It helps relax muscles and reduces discomfort caused by muscle stiffness and spasms.

Take the whole tablet with a glass of water.
Swallow the whole tablet; do not crush or chew it.
Take this tablet at the duration prescribed by your doctor.

Cbenzprime 5 Tablet 10 may cause side effects like dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, constipation, heartburn, and extreme tiredness. If these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Cyclobenzaprine (5 mg): It is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant that increases the brainstem-mediated noradrenergic inhibition of spinal cord neurons. It mainly acts within the central nervous system in the brain stem by reliving skeletal muscle spasms of local origin without interfering with muscle function.

Pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended in pregnant women as there are inadequate studies of this tablet in pregnant women. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant if this medicine is prescribed to you. Your doctor will outweigh the potential risks of benefits and harm regarding this tablet and decide if this medication is necessary for you.

Breastfeeding

It is advised to take caution when taking this medication by a breastfeeding woman as this medication resembles tricyclic antidepressants, which are known to pass through breast milk. Drug-Drug Interactions

Cbenzprime 5 Tablet 10 can interact with medications, including:

MAO inhibitors such as phenelzine. The concomitant use of this tablet may have life-threatening interactions such as seizures.
CNS depressants such as diazepam. The concomitant use of this tablet can enhance the effect of CNS depressants.
Antihypertensives such as guanethidine. Taking this tablet with antihypertensives can block the effect of antihypertensive medications.
Synthetic opioids such as tramadol. The concomitant use of this tablet with synthetic opioids can enhance the seizure risk.

Cbenzprime 5 Tablet 10 can interact with diseases, including;

Cardiac diseases: Taking this tablet in case of cardiac diseases can lead to tachycardia, arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, and more.
Hyperthyroidism: This tablet should not be taken by patients suffering from hyperthyroidism as it may worsen the condition.

Daily Dose

The dose of this tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as the severity of the condition and response to the treatment. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage direction and consult the doctor before exceeding it.

Over Dose
