• Antacids: Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium, like ranitidine or omeprazole, can decrease the absorption of cefuroxime. So, you should take these antacids at least 2 hours before or after taking C-Furo 500 Tablet.

C-Furo 500 Tablet should be taken with food to enhance its absorption. You do not need to avoid specific foods while taking this medicine.

• Kidney disease: The dose of this medication may need to be adjusted if you have kidney problems, as it is mainly eliminated from your body through your kidneys.

• Colitis: This form of bowel inflammation can worsen with C-Furo 500 Tablet due to possible overgrowth of a bacteria called Clostridium difficile.

• Allergies: If you have a history of allergic reactions to penicillins or other cephalosporins, there's a chance you might also be allergic to C-Furo 500 Tablet.
