C-Furo 250 Tablet is used to manage bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, ear infections, UTIs, skin and soft tissue infections, bone and joint infections, Lyme disease, and to prevent infections during surgical procedures. It contains Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin, for broad bacterial coverage.

Here's how to take C-Furo 250 Tablet:

• Always swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not chew, crush or break the tablet.

• Always ensure that you do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Even if your symptoms improve, make sure to complete the full course of this medicine as directed by your doctor.

C-Furo 250 Tablet is taken orally.

C-Furo 250 Tablet contains cefuroxime (250 mg), which acts on the body in the following ways:

• Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis: Cefuroxime targets specific proteins known as penicillin-binding proteins within the bacterial cell wall. By binding to these proteins, it disrupts the construction of the cell wall.

• Leads to bacterial death: As a result of disrupting cell wall formation, this medication weakens the bacterial cell wall, which leads to cell lysis - essentially causing the bacterial cells to break open and die off.

• Store C-Furo 250 Tablet in a dry place, shielded from light and moisture.

• Keep the temperature steady, ideally between 15-30°C.

• Ensure it's out of reach and sight of children.

• Always check the expiry date before use.

• If you're managing a urinary tract infection with C-Furo 250 Tablet, drink plenty of fluids to help flush out bacteria from your system.

• To support recovery from respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia or bronchitis, avoid smoking and exposure to second-hand smoke as these can worsen your condition.
