Bunase L 0.5 Respules is a combination medicine used to manage long-term respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains budesonide and levosalbutamol, belonging to the groups of corticosteroids and bronchodilators.
It helps control symptoms including wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath and persistent coughing. It is inhaled using a nebuliser as prescribed by your doctor; take it regularly for steady symptom control rather than as a fast-acting reliever during sudden breathing distress.
Quitting smoking, avoiding known triggers or dust, staying up to date with recommended vaccinations and following an agreed breathing action plan can help improve lung function. Rinse your mouth with water after each nebulisation.
Tell your doctor about any diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure or thyroid disorders. Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
