Bronkolin Syrup 100Ml

Bronkolin Syrup 100ml is used to relieve and prevent wheezing and breathlessness in reversible airway conditions such as asthma and COPD, and can also be used before exercise to prevent symptoms.

Uses of Bronkolin Syrup 100ml are:

• Asthma: Helps relieve and manage wheezing and breathlessness.
• COPD: Helps ease bronchospasm in chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
• Exercise-Induced Wheezing: Can be used before exercise to help prevent symptoms.

Follow these instructions while taking Bronkolin Syrup 100ml:

• Use the measuring cup or spoon provided to ensure the correct dose.

• Shake the bottle well before measuring the syrup.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take doses at the same time each day for the best results.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in patients with diabetes. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Bronkolin Syrup 100ml is taken orally.

Bronkolin Syrup 100ml contains salbutamol (2 mg per 5 ml), which works on the body as follows:

• Stimulates beta-2 receptors: Salbutamol selectively binds to beta-2 adrenergic receptors located in the smooth muscles of your airways, activating them to produce a therapeutic response.

• Increases Cyclic AMP levels: Upon binding to these receptors, salbutamol triggers an enzyme called adenylyl cyclase, which increases levels of cyclic AMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate) within your airway cells.

• Relaxes smooth muscles: The elevated cyclic AMP levels cause the smooth muscles surrounding your airways to relax, leading to widening of the air passages.

• Bronchodilation: This relaxation process results in bronchodilation—the opening and expansion of your airways—making breathing easier and relieving symptoms like wheezing and shortness of breath.

• Store Bronkolin Syrup 100ml at room temperature between 20 and 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protect it from light and moisture.

• Do not freeze or expose to excessive heat.

• Always keep out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date, and do not use it after this date.

• Avoid known asthma triggers such as cigarette smoke, strong perfumes, and air pollution, as these can worsen bronchospasm (tightening of the airways) and reduce the effectiveness of your medicine.

• Stay well-hydrated throughout the day, as adequate fluid intake helps keep the mucus in your airways thinner and easier to clear, supporting better breathing.
