Bimat T 0.5/0.3% Eye Drops 3ml is used to treat ocular hypertension and glaucoma by lowering the pressure inside the eye. It is a combination medicine containing bimatoprost and timolol, and belongs to the class of prostaglandin analogue and beta-blocker medicines.

This medicine combines two ways of lowering eye pressure: bimatoprost increases the outflow of aqueous humour, the fluid inside the eye, while timolol reduces the production of this fluid. Together, they lower eye pressure more effectively than either medicine alone. This medicine should only be used in the affected eye, in the dose and duration instructed by your doctor.

Wash your hands before use and read the label directions carefully. Even if you feel better, do not miss any doses and complete the entire course of treatment as instructed.
