Belmore 180 Tablet 10 is used to lower raised LDL cholesterol in adults with primary hypercholesterolaemia, including people who need additional cholesterol lowering or cannot tolerate an appropriate statin regimen.

Uses of Belmore 180 Tablet 10 are:

• Primary Hypercholesterolaemia: Helps lower raised LDL cholesterol.
• Additional LDL Lowering: May be added when current lipid-lowering treatment does not provide adequate control.
• Statin Intolerance: Provides an option for selected people who cannot tolerate an appropriate statin regimen.

Follow these instructions while taking Belmore 180 Mg Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

Belmore 180 Mg Tablet 10 contains Bempedoic acid (180 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Inhibits ATP citrate lyase: Bempedoic acid blocks an enzyme called ATP citrate lyase (ACL) in your liver. This enzyme plays an important role in the early stages of cholesterol production.

• Reduces cholesterol synthesis: By inhibiting the ACL enzyme, this medicine effectively decreases the amount of cholesterol your liver can produce, leading to lower overall cholesterol levels in your bloodstream.

• Increases cholesterol breakdown: Alongside reducing production, bempedoic acid also helps your body break down existing cholesterol more efficiently, further contributing to decreased cholesterol levels.

• Store Belmore 180 Mg Tablet 10 at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
