Levozet M Tablet is used to treat a variety of allergic conditions, including allergic rhinitis (hay fever), chronic urticaria (hives), and skin allergies. The Levozet M Tablet contains two active ingredients:

Levocetirizine (5 mg): This component is a potent H1 histamine receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the action of histamine at H1 receptors in your body. Histamine is a substance that your body produces during an allergic reaction, leading to effects like blood vessel dilation (widening), increased vascular permeability (leakiness), and stimulation of smooth muscles in various organs. Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, thereby reducing these allergic reactions.
