Levozet M Tablet is used for relief from various allergic conditions, including hay fever, allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria (hives), and skin allergies. It helps reduce itching, rashes, swelling, nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose, and mild asthma symptoms like coughing and wheezing.

To use Levozet M Tablet correctly, follow these steps:

1. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
2. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
3. Always take it as directed by your doctor.
4. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.

Levozet M Tablet is taken orally.

The Levozet M Tablet contains two active ingredients:

Levocetirizine (5 mg): This component is a potent H1 histamine receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the action of histamine at H1 receptors in your body. Histamine is a substance that your body produces during an allergic reaction, leading to effects like blood vessel dilation (widening), increased vascular permeability (leakiness), and stimulation of smooth muscles in various organs. By blocking these effects, Levocetirizine helps reduce symptoms such as sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes.

Montelukast (10 mg): Montelukast acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotrienes are chemicals your body releases when you breathe in an allergen (something you're allergic to). They cause inflammation and mucus secretion in your airways, leading to symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Montelukast works by blocking the action of leukotrienes, thereby reducing these allergic reactions.

1. Keep Levozet M Tablet in a cool, dry and dark place, ideally at temperatures below 30°C.
2. Protect the medicine from direct sunlight and avoid exposure to moisture.
3. Ensure that it's out of reach of children at all times.
4. Always check the expiry date before use and do not consume if it has passed.
