Rosubest F Tablet 10

Rosubest F Tablet 10 is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels by lowering LDL and improving HDL. It helps reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and related complications. This combination therapy supports long-term cardiovascular health when lifestyle measures alone aren’t enough to control lipid imbalance.

• Swallow the tablet whole, do not crush or chew it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• It's preferable to take this medicine at the same time each day to help you remember.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Rosubest F Tablet is taken orally.

Rosubest F Tablet contains fenofibrate (160 mg) and rosuvastatin (10 mg). Both of these act on the body in the following ways:

• Fenofibrate (160 mg): This medicine works by activating Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor α (PPARα), a nuclear receptor that controls the expression of genes involved in fat metabolism. This leads to increased breakdown and elimination of triglyceride-rich particles from your blood. It also alters the size and composition of LDL particles, making them larger and more buoyant, which means they have a greater affinity for cholesterol receptors.

• Rosuvastatin (10 mg): This ingredient inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body that plays a crucial role in forming cholesterol. By blocking this enzyme, rosuvastatin effectively reduces blood cholesterol levels.

Together, fenofibrate and rosuvastatin significantly reduce total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and increase HDL cholesterol levels in your body.

• Store Rosubest F Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally at a temperature below 30°C.

• Keep it protected from light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Always keep the medicine out of reach of children for safety.

• Make sure you use the tablet before the expiry date mentioned on the packaging.

• Incorporate a cholesterol-lowering diet into your daily routine. Opt for foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, such as fish and walnuts, and increase your intake of soluble fibre found in oats and fruits.

• Regular exercise can help manage high cholesterol levels. Aim for 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, like brisk walking or cycling, at least 5 days a week.
