CompositionBayace Capsule 10 is used to ease breathing in adults with long-term lung conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps relax the muscles of the airways, which reduces tightening of the airways (bronchospasm) and makes breathing easier.
It belongs to a group of medicines called xanthine derivatives, which open up the airways. Swallow the capsule whole as prescribed; do not stop it suddenly without your doctor's advice, even if your breathing feels better.
Avoiding known triggers such as smoke and dust, stopping smoking, and keeping up with any prescribed inhalers support better breathing alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any heart, liver or kidney problems before starting, and about other medicines you take, as these can affect how this medicine works. Report a fast or irregular heartbeat, persistent vomiting or marked restlessness.
