CompositionAsthakind Ldp Peppermint Flavour Syrup is used to relieve a dry, tickly cough that does not bring up phlegm. It is a combination medicine containing levodropropizine (a cough suppressant) and chlorpheniramine (an antihistamine).
It is helpful for coughs triggered by allergies or lingering after a common cold, and it soothes the throat irritation that sets off coughing. Measure it carefully and take it after food, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Drink plenty of warm fluids to soothe the throat, rest adequately and avoid smoky or dusty environments.
Before starting, tell your doctor about your medical conditions, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor if the cough lasts more than seven days or comes with a high fever or thick yellow mucus. It may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving until you know how it affects you.
