• Aromoxi 0.5% Eye Ointment 5 GM is used to treat eye infections caused by bacteria, like pink eye. It helps reduce symptoms such as redness, swelling, and discharge by stopping the bacteria from growing.
• Eye infections triggered by Streptococcus species like Streptococcus pneumoniae and Streptococcus viridans group
• Eye problems due to Corynebacterium species and Micrococcus luteus

Aromoxi 0.5% Eye Ointment 5 GM is used to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis. It helps control infections caused by susceptible bacteria, reduces redness, swelling, discharge, and irritation, and supports faster healing by stopping bacterial growth in the affected eye tissues.

Aromoxi 0.5% Eye Ointment 5 GM is applied topically.

Aromoxi 0.5% Eye Ointment 5 GM contains moxifloxacin (0.5%), which works on your body in the following ways:

• Enzyme Inhibition: Moxifloxacin blocks the action of DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV enzymes in bacterial cells. These enzymes play a vital role in bacterial DNA's replication, transcription, repair, and recombination processes.
• Disrupts bacterial DNA synthesis: By blocking these key enzymes' activity, Moxifloxacin effectively interferes with bacterial DNA synthesis, resulting in the death of bacterial cells.

• Store Aromoxi 0.5% Eye Ointment 5 GM at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 25°C.
• Keep the ointment tube tightly closed when not in use to prevent any contamination.
• Avoid exposure to excessive heat, light, or moisture.
• Always keep this medication out of reach of children to ensure their safety.
• Ensure you use the ointment before its expiry date printed on the label.
