CompositionArbitel-Trio 50 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure in adults who need three medicines together for good control. It is a combination medicine containing cilnidipine (a calcium channel blocker), metoprolol succinate (a beta-blocker) and telmisartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker).
Controlling blood pressure helps reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. Take it at the same time each day, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop it suddenly, as the metoprolol part needs to be reduced slowly under medical guidance.
Reducing salt in your diet (including pickles, papad and packaged snacks), staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding smoking and limiting alcohol can support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before starting, tell your doctor about asthma or breathing problems, a slow heart rate, diabetes, or liver or kidney problems, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. In people with diabetes, this medicine can hide some signs of low blood sugar, such as a fast heartbeat. Speak to your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
