It contains cilnidipine, metoprolol succinate, and telmisartan, which lower blood pressure by three different mechanisms. Take it as prescribed, ideally at the same time each day. Do not stop it suddenly, as the beta-blocker component should be tapered gradually under medical guidance.
Lifestyle changes support blood pressure control alongside this medicine. These include reducing salt, eating a balanced diet, staying active within your limits, limiting alcohol, and avoiding smoking.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any asthma, breathing problems, a slow heart rate, diabetes, or liver or kidney problems. The metoprolol component can mask some symptoms of low blood sugar such as a fast heartbeat in people with diabetes. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
