CompositionApp-Up 4 Tablet is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as hay fever, hives and itchy skin rashes, and is also used to stimulate appetite in people who are underweight or recovering from a long illness.
It contains cyproheptadine, an antihistamine that also stimulates appetite. It works by blocking histamine and acting on the appetite centre in the brain.
Take it as directed, usually before meals when used to improve appetite.
It can cause marked drowsiness, so avoid driving or tasks needing alertness until you know how it affects you. Tell your doctor about any glaucoma, an enlarged prostate or difficulty passing urine before use.
