Amlong H Tablet 15

Amlong-H Tablet is used for the management of hypertension, the prevention of cardiovascular events, and the control of blood pressure in cases where single-drug therapy is ineffective. It also helps to reduce the workload on the heart and improve overall heart function.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Try to take your tablet at the same time each day to maintain consistent drug levels in your body.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Make sure to continue taking this medicine for the full prescribed duration.

Amlong-H Tablet is taken orally.

Amlong-H Tablet contains the following active components:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This calcium channel blocker relaxes the muscles in your blood vessel walls, which leads to wider blood vessels and improved blood flow. As a result, your blood pressure decreases.
• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This is a thiazide diuretic or 'water pill'. It increases urine production, helping your body get rid of extra salt and water. Removing these reduces blood volume and therefore lowers blood pressure. It also promotes the excretion of potassium and magnesium from the body.

• Store Amlong-H Tablet at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.

• Always keep Amlong-H Tablet out of reach of children.

• Limit your salt intake as excessive salt can raise blood pressure, working against the effectiveness of Amlong-H Tablet.
• Include potassium-rich foods like bananas and oranges in your diet as Amlong-H Tablet can cause loss of potassium, which is essential for heart health.
• Regular physical activity helps control high blood pressure.
• Maintain a healthy weight as being overweight can raise your blood pressure.
• Limit alcohol intake when taking Amlong-H Tablet. Excessive drinking can increase blood pressure levels.
• Avoid smoking. Tobacco raises blood pressure and damages your blood vessels, increasing risks associated with hypertension.
