Actibile 75 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Promoting cholesterol solubility in bile

Follow these instructions while taking Actibile 75 Tablet 10:

• Take the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Swallow the tablet without crushing or chewing it.
• Do not break the sustained-release tablet, as it affects how the medicine works.
• Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor advises.
• Consult your doctor if you have questions about using this medicine.

Actibile 75 Tablet 10 contains ursodeoxycholic acid (75 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Reduces Cholesterol Production: Ursodeoxycholic acid decreases the amount of cholesterol your liver produces and secretes into bile, lowering the risk of cholesterol gallstone formation.
• Promotes Cholesterol Solubility: It helps make cholesterol more soluble in bile, which assists in dissolving existing cholesterol gallstones in your gallbladder.
• Protects Liver Cells: Ursodeoxycholic acid shields your liver cells from damage caused by toxic bile acids, thereby improving overall liver function.
• Decreases Inflammation: It reduces inflammation in the liver and bile ducts, which is particularly helpful for conditions like primary biliary cirrhosis, where inflammation damages these structures.

• If you have gallstones, limit foods high in cholesterol and saturated fats (such as fried foods, fatty meats, and full-fat dairy products), as these can exacerbate gallstone formation.
• For liver conditions, limit alcohol consumption completely or significantly, as alcohol can cause additional stress on your liver and reduce the effectiveness of ursodeoxycholic acid.
