Caution should be taken in cases of specific medications such as barbiturates like phenobarbital and methohexital; benzodiazepines like alprazolam and diazepam; and sedatives like zolpidem and eszopiclone.
• Cytochrome P-450 CYP2C8 substrates: Montelukast, another ingredient of 1 Al Max 10/5 MG Tablet 10, may interact with the medicines metabolised by this enzyme. Examples include warfarin, rosiglitazone, and repaglinide.

There are no specific foods that you need to avoid while taking this medicine.

• Severe kidney impairment: Levocetirizine is excreted by the kidneys. In patients with severe kidney impairment, the clearance of levocetirizine is decreased, leading to its accumulation.
• Severe liver impairment: Montelukast is extensively metabolised in the liver. In patients with severe liver impairment, caution is advised due to potential alterations in its metabolism.
• Neuropsychiatric disorders: Montelukast has been associated with neuropsychiatric events. Patients with a history of such events should exercise caution when using this medication.
