Prolyte Powder 4.2 Gm is used for restoring essential electrolytes and fluids lost due to dehydration. It contains a balanced composition of dextrose, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium citrate, and trisodium citrate dihydrate, which help in maintaining hydration and electrolyte balance. This powder is commonly used in cases of diarrhoea, vomiting, excessive sweating, and other conditions leading to fluid loss. • Dissolve the contents of one sachet in the 200ml water.
• Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved.
• Depending upon the age and severity of dehydration, 
• Take 1 to 2 litres (5 to 10 glasses) for infants and children over 24 hours.
• For adults, take 2 to 4 litres (10 to 20 glasses) over 24 hours. 
• Continue treatment until diarrhoea stops or dehydration is corrected.
