CompositionZoxan 500 Tablet is used to treat serious and wide-ranging bacterial infections, including pneumonia, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, gonorrhoea, septic arthritis, and complicated infections such as anthrax.
It contains ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Take the tablet with or without food, with a full glass of water; avoid antacids, dairy products, and calcium-containing foods close to the time of taking this tablet, as they can reduce absorption.
Drinking plenty of fluids and completing the full prescribed course support recovery and help prevent the infection from returning.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any history of tendon problems or seizures. Stop the tablet and contact your doctor immediately if you develop tendon pain or swelling. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
