Zeformin Xr 30 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

Follow these instructions while taking Zeformin Xr 30 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• If you have trouble swallowing tablets, consult your doctor.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day for best results.

Zeformin Xr 30 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Zeformin Xr 30 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Gliclazide (30 mg): This belongs to the sulfonylurea class of medicines. It stimulates insulin secretion from the pancreatic beta cells by binding to specific receptors, closing potassium channels and causing calcium influx. This process helps release more insulin into your bloodstream to lower blood glucose levels.

• Metformin (500 mg): This is a biguanide that works by decreasing glucose production in the liver.
